Norstar M7310 Telephone Set

Entering Administration for the 308,616 and 824 control units.

Administration is for (Time & Date,Speed Dial,Names,Capabilities,)

To get out of programming,  just press the release button (RLs).
Programming is easiest using the M7310 set. 
For the ICS and 0x32 control unit
Feature * * 2 6 6 3 4 4 which is * * C O N F I G.
When in programming just press the (next) button until you see what you want to change.  Then press (show),then (change) if you want to change it.  If you pass it,  just press (back)

Example:  To change the Time & Date:

  • Press (next) until you see Time & Date.
  • Then press (show)
  • Then press (change)
  • Then press (change) again,  change it if you need to
  • Then press (next) again until you see what you need to change.

Example:   Only the hour needs to be changed  for day light saving time: *

  • Press (next) until you come to the (Hour).  
  • Change it.     
  • Press release (RLs) when your done.

* MICS 7.1 will automatically update the time on your Norstar system from information received with CALLER ID so long as auto time and date have been implemented. This will also change when Daylight Saving Time begins and ends. NOTE: Not all telephone providers time settings are accurate. The time supplied by your telephone company may be off by as much as five minutes.

Be Careful in System Programming!

Take your time and look at the display.
When the word (SET) shows up it's asking what extension number than you want to program. Enter the extension number. 
When you see something that you need to change press (SHOW) then (Change) then (NEXT).
